DNA confirms it. And she has had two children with her kidnapper. I’m disgusted, but not really surprised.
Considering there are several other unsolved abductions in the general area, I hope these people are looked at.

I always hear people asking the question “why didn’t Jaycee just run away while she had the opportunity?”?
I always find my self having to say “well, she was probably too scared to run away.”
Clinical Phsychologists call it “Stalkhome(sp?) Syndrome” where an abducted child identifies with his/her abductor.
I’ve said the same thing about Elizabeth Smart and Shawn Hornbeck who probably didn’t run away out of fear.
But you know what? Jaycee is home safe with her mother and step-father and that’s all that really matters in the end.
